about

"Blending the ethereal with the foul ... felt like turning on a 8mm film projector found in an abandoned midwestern mental ward and witnessing a forgotten manifesto with a disturbingly cohesive storyline."
- Drift Stitcher

"Can you not make any more music?"
- my daughter

This album is dedicated to Shit, literal and metaphorical. Shit is what repulses us about ourselves, so much that we intend to deny its existence. Shit is also the basis of regeneration, of life. The things we hate, fear, ignore -- they are essential to our growth.

This album is meant to repulse and, as consequence, to enlighten. To encourage you to look at your own shadow.

about

Cedar Bozeman, montana

These sounds live in a place between melody and drone, soundscape and song; between field recordings of wind, and rivers of distortion and noise. Richly textured, emotive, horrific, and deeply personal.
